The Red Lion, in the ancient market town of Sennybridge, has welcomed local people and visitors
since the middle of the 19th century. It is a traditional pub, serving a range of ales, ciders and
lagers, as well as wines and spirits; it has a designated darts area and a pool table, and all major
sporting events are available through Sky sports. In winter a log-burning stove provides customers
with warmth and old-fashioned comfort. Customers can also benefit from free Cloud Wi-fi from Sky.
For more solid sustenance, the Red Lion offers a range of bar snacks and daily specials, cooked
on the premises using locally sourced meat and produce.
Sennybridge is at the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, and within reach of the Penderyn
distillery, the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, Dan-yr-Ogof caves, and many other attractions, with
walks in the magnificent Brecon Beacons and fishing in the River Usk.
The Red Lion is also proud of its association with H.M. Forces going back many years, as demonstrated
by the multitude of regimental plaques on display.
It is a dog-friendly pub - all well-behaved dogs and owners are welcome (at the discretion of the pub
